Photo Sciences, Inc. reserves the right to suspend the “48 hours / 72 hours or it’s free” guarantee from time to time at its sole discretion, with or without cause. Typically the guarantee is only suspended when Photo sciences has one of it’s laser write tools down for maintenance or repair. Even when the guarantee is suspended, Photo Sciences makes every effort to adhere to the 48-hour / 72-hour schedule.

Free mask replacement is applicable for masters wherein the customer has made an error or has damaged the photomask and has notified Photo Sciences of it’s intent to have the photomask replaced within 30 days of receiving the mask. The free replacement is limited to Photo Sciences product codes containing: F10CS & F62CS. For product codes containing: F10CQ & F62CQ, the customer will be charged a nominal amount to cover the material cost. For mask replacement under the circumstances that the error was caused by or created by Photo Sciences, Inc., photomask replacement is at no charge regardless of the product code, providing that the defective photomask meets the requirements outlined in Photo Sciences’ standard terms and conditions.

Half price mask replacement is applicable for masters wherein the customer has made an error or has damaged the photomask and has notified Photo Sciences’ of it’s intent to have the photomask replaced within 1 year of receiving the mask. The half price replacement is limited to Photo Sciences’ product codes containing: F10CS & F62CS. For product codes containing: F10CQ & F62CQ, the customer will be charged a nominal amount to cover the material cost in addition to half of the original charge.

The customer is responsible for all freight, shipping and transportation costs for photomasks replaced under the “Free Mask Replacement” or “Half Price Mask Replacement” program.

The customer is responsible for all freight, shipping and transportation costs for photomasks submitted for the “Free Mask Cleaning” service.

The customer is responsible for all freight, shipping and transportation costs for photomasks submitted for the “Free Mask Re-inspection and Certification” service.
